Youth Services Manager - Forward Leeds

Role Summary
Humankind is seeking a dedicated Youth Services Manager to lead our Forward Leeds initiative, focusing on the Young People's Team. This role involves overseeing a passionate team of approximately 14 professionals who provide essential support to young individuals in Leeds facing challenges related to substance use. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering both personal and professional growth within the team.

The service caters to youth up to 18 years old, extending support and treatment for substance use to young adults as well.

About the Team
The Young People's Team is committed to empowering young people, recognizing the significant role that effective interventions can play in transforming lives. As the Youth Services Manager, you will be instrumental in building strong partnerships with various community stakeholders to enhance support for our youth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing services that assist children, young people, or adults.
  • Familiarity with programs addressing substance use and related issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to create new service pathways and collaborative relationships.
  • Possession of or progress towards a recognized management qualification, such as Level 5 in management or leadership, or equivalent experience.
