Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct verification of Domestic EICR reports from previous weeks' work on designated contracts.
  • Adhere to KPIs to meet stringent deadlines for clients.
  • Oversee and manage the Morgan Lambert and other external auditing platforms. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to schedule revisits as necessary.
  • Stay informed about industry changes and communicate updates to engineers through Toolbox talks.
  • Facilitate inductions for new engineers.
  • Create and revise contract specifications, including software templates, and distribute them to engineers via email, addressing any related inquiries.
  • Monitor and update follow-up appointments for the planning team to arrange within the 28-day KPI.
  • Participate in client and supplier meetings as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to the planning team and engineers.
  • Engage in weekly discussions with your Line Manager to identify potential risks or opportunities for performance enhancement.
  • Hold regular meetings with the QS Team.
  • Read and explore technical literature within the industry to broaden knowledge and identify risks.

About You

To excel in the role of Electrical NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, you will need:

  • A positive, diverse, and inclusive approach towards both internal and external customers and colleagues.
  • The capability to perform under pressure, demonstrating initiative and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in interacting with NICEIC inspectors and third-party auditors.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience, including NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation work (C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365).
  • City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent (ideally).
  • A good level of computer proficiency.
  • A valid driving license held for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Ideally, the 18th edition qualification; however, we offer 18th edition and asbestos awareness training at our in-house training center.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • A quick learner.
