Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify Domestic EICR reports from recent work on assigned contracts.
  • Meet KPIs to ensure timely delivery for clients.
  • Oversee the Morgan Lambert and other external auditing platforms, coordinating with the Operations Manager for necessary revisits.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and communicate updates to engineers through Toolbox talks.
  • Conduct inductions for new engineers.
  • Develop and revise contract specifications, including software templates, and address any related inquiries from engineers.
  • Monitor and update follow-up appointments for the planning team to ensure compliance with 28-day KPIs.
  • Participate in client and supplier meetings as needed.
  • Provide technical assistance to the planning team and engineers.
  • Engage in weekly discussions with your Line Manager regarding potential risks and opportunities for performance enhancement.
  • Hold regular meetings with the QS Team.
  • Read and analyze technical literature to expand knowledge and identify potential risks.

About You

To excel as an Electrical NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, you should possess:

  • A positive, inclusive attitude towards both internal and external stakeholders.
  • The capability to perform under pressure, demonstrating initiative and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience interacting with NICEIC inspectors and third-party auditors.
  • Relevant qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation work (C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365).
  • City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent (preferred).
  • A good level of computer proficiency.
  • A valid driving license held for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Ideally, the 18th edition qualification; however, training can be provided for the 18th edition and asbestos awareness.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Excel.
  • A strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A quick learning aptitude.
