About the Role:

Lidl is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Shift Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of customer service and store appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and support your team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to ensure smooth store operations
  • Create an environment where colleagues can succeed and grow
  • Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
  • Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure efficient store operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience

Requirements:

  • Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a busy retail environment
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate team members
  • Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and store operations
  • Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations
