About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team at Angling Direct. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our store, including leading and developing a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and maintaining store standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business strategies to increase customer engagement, optimise store traffic, and maximise profitability.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service and maintaining store standards.
  • Staff Management: Conduct regular performance appraisals, identify training needs, and support career development. Manage and resolve any staff or customer issues, including complaints and grievances.
Requirements
  • Passion for Fishing: Passionate anglers with solid fishing product knowledge.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience of working in a retail environment with proven success in leading and motivating teams.
