Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Engineer to join our Design team. As a Senior Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and design of rocket motor systems, including structural and thermal analysis using FEA software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers on stress analysis and FEA software.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including structural analysis reports and design records.
  • Stress Analysis and Design
    • Perform structural and thermal analysis of rocket motor systems using FEA software.
    • Develop and implement stress analysis models and methods to improve design efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing.
    • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including project managers and customers.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in stress analysis and FEA software.
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in ABAQUS software and experience with CAD modelling.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
