Position: Sales Support Specialist

Contract Type: Maternity Cover (minimum of 9 months, subject to review and potential for permanent placement)

Salary: Up to £23,795 per annum (pro rata based on contract duration)
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

We are collaborating with a reputable and welcoming organization seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Your responsibilities will include managing customer orders through various communication channels for the sales and distribution of their products, while also coordinating with their European parent company.

Comprehensive training will be provided; however, candidates should possess prior experience in an office environment, supporting sales teams, along with a solid administrative skill set and customer service background.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing orders utilizing a specialized timber inventory system.
  • Responding to phone inquiries and assisting with general customer questions.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, with a proven track record in administration and experience in customer communication across various platforms.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and dependable.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of basic clerical and administrative processes, along with familiarity with office equipment.
