Role Overview

The position of ESG Transformation Manager has been established to enhance our sustainable business strategy in response to the evolving regulatory landscape for corporate ESG. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with external requirements and maintaining high-quality ESG disclosures. Reporting to the ESG Operations and Reporting Lead, the successful candidate will engage with stakeholders to align our strategies with upcoming legislation, including CSRD and CSDDD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with various functions and markets globally to ensure compliance with CSRD requirements.
  • Conduct cross-functional stakeholder management to identify gaps in compliance and develop strategies to address them.
  • Oversee external advisors and contractors to prioritize critical CSRD alignment tasks and establish timelines for delivery.
  • Implement a performance management program to monitor compliance targets and progress.
  • Generate regular reports on the status of ESG regulation compliance.
  • Identify and manage compliance risks, escalating issues through appropriate governance channels and collaborating with business owners on mitigation strategies.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong understanding of ESG regulations.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing sustainability strategies, including KPI development.
  • Exceptional project management skills to coordinate strategies across multiple functions.
  • Experience in change management within diverse cultural environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing compliance or ESG strategies.
  • Track record of driving sustainability initiatives and comprehensive knowledge of ESG requirements.
  • Experience in large, matrixed organizations.
