Key Responsibilities- Lead technical compliance assessments of environmental and sustainability requirements
- Develop and maintain sustainability and environmental requirements for Amazon Private Brands
- Work with subject matter experts to ensure compliance with all sustainability and environmental regulatory requirements
- Partner with sustainability teams to develop and implement sustainability and environmental policies, tools, and methodologies
- Translate requirements to tech teams and vet solutions provided
- Identify areas of opportunity around end-to-end sustainability and environmental management
The Policy and Compliance Team (PACT) is responsible for identifying and analyzing compliance requirements, including requirement ingestion, review, and assessment, product-type protocol management, and secondary requirements. As a member of this team, you will work closely with technical functions to escalate and assess technical requirements.
Requirements- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience in compliance, audit, or risk management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies (preferred)
- Master's degree or equivalent (preferred)
