Environmental Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team at DNT Environmental Services Inc. as a key member of our environmental management team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing effective environmental management systems across multiple civil engineering projects. This will involve managing a team, conducting environmental site inspections, reviewing and monitoring compliance with company and divisional standards, and developing robust mitigation measures to address environmental risks.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of environmental design and works, as well as experience working with consulting engineers, civil engineering contractors, or specialist environmental contractors. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage onsite environmental site inspections
  • Review and monitor compliance with company and divisional standards
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems
  • Develop robust mitigation measures to address environmental risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and client representatives

Requirements:

  • Experience working in environmental management or a related field
  • Broad knowledge of environmental design and works
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
