Environmental Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team at DNT Environmental Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing environmental standards across multiple civil engineering projects. This will involve managing a team, conducting site inspections, reviewing compliance, and developing mitigation measures to address environmental risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage onsite environmental site inspections
  • Review and monitor compliance with company and divisional standards
  • Manage and oversee monitoring equipment, collect, process, and interpret data
  • Ensure the implementation and operation of the Project Environmental Management System
  • Prepare monthly environmental reports for the project
  • Develop robust mitigation measures to address environmental risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and client representatives

Requirements:

  • Experience in environmental management, consulting, or civil engineering
  • Broad knowledge of environmental design and works, and their impacts on third parties
