Role Summary
The Sustainability Compliance Specialist will assist the Compliance Director and the broader Wealth Advisory team by serving as an 'ESG authority,' ensuring the organization remains proactive in adapting to shifts and advancements within the ESG regulatory framework, including but not limited to SFDR and SDR.
This role presents a unique opportunity for the Sustainability Compliance Specialist to take charge and influence the development of this position while enhancing their professional expertise.
The Specialist is expected to collaborate closely with senior management to pinpoint emerging ESG regulations or industry trends and assess their implications for the organization.
Additionally, the Sustainability Compliance Specialist will play a vital role in shaping the company's risk management framework and the formulation of Management Information (MI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
Key responsibilities include establishing procedures for continuous compliance monitoring and creating educational programs to inform and train internal teams on sustainable investment regulations.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in compliance with a strong focus on ESG-related regulations is CRUCIAL.
A solid understanding of Wealth Advisory practices is preferred.
Familiarity with fund and portfolio management, along with regulatory knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD requirements, will be considered a significant advantage.
Professional qualifications in compliance are desirable.
Exceptional organizational abilities are essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
A collaborative team player who can also work autonomously when necessary.
