Position Overview

Director of Structured Credit Solutions
  • Enhance the organization's connections with clients through the promotion and sale of Financial Market offerings.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities and leverage our unique network.
  • Focus on cross-asset and international collaboration to optimize client service and financial returns.
  • Collaborate with clients alongside Relationship Managers and colleagues in sales, research, and trading to gain a comprehensive understanding of each client's business requirements.
  • Formulate a client engagement strategy tailored to meet those requirements or attract new clients for Financial Market products, particularly in securitization and structured financing.
  • Build strong working relationships with key industry banking teams to support client origination efforts, including sectors such as FISG, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate Finance, Aviation & Ship Finance, and Trade Finance.
  • Engage with key decision-makers at client organizations through calls, visits, and the provision of relevant insights to become a vital resource in their decision-making regarding financial market instruments.
    • The role includes liaising with clients and executing trades and orders in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with global FM Sales standards.
    • Responsible for establishing appropriate frameworks and operational infrastructures to ensure efficient and compliant business processes.
    • Monitor each client's trading limits, securing specific approvals for any anticipated excess arising from transactions.
    • Deliver exceptional service to strengthen financial market relationships.
    • Oversee the global financial market relationship for key clients, coordinating with Relationship Managers and product specialists in various regions to enhance the global franchise.
    • Maintain an updated account strategy for Financial Markets products for each client, identifying growth opportunities and creating actionable plans.
    • Prioritize proactive client engagement and timely delivery of pertinent market intelligence, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries.
    • Take responsibility for all aspects of service delivery within financial markets, including support functions such as operations.
    • Assist in establishing adequate infrastructure for trading activities.
    • Drive key Financial Market themes and initiatives, ensuring alignment with risk management.
    • Achieve the assigned annual budget for client income from designated clients, focusing on generating income from Asset Backed Solutions, including CLO and ABS, and Repo/TRS financing.
    • Engage with FM Structuring teams to provide optimal risk solutions for clients.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in ABS & CLO Sales or Broking to ensure immediate contribution.
  • In-depth knowledge of the global securitized products market, particularly in the US.
  • Strong interpersonal skills suited for a Sales role, with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a demonstrated ability to work across cultures in a dynamic environment.
