Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including leading month-end accounting, preparing financial statements, and managing cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on month-end accounting and financial reporting, working closely with external accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and manage expat tax and payroll, in conjunction with external advisors, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
- Manage and maintain financial systems, including SAP/Concur, to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the management team, ensuring that financial decisions are informed and aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies, ensuring that financial considerations are taken into account.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with significant experience in a large global business, preferably in a finance leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing expat/inpat tax matters, specifically Japanese expat tax, would be highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of finance professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with SAP/Concur would be highly advantageous.
