Job Overview

Introduction

Turning Point is a charitable organization specializing in Health & Social care, boasting over sixty years of dedicated service. We are currently seeking a Team Leader for one of our residential facilities. This role involves overseeing a standard bungalow that provides round-the-clock care for six male residents with profound learning disabilities and various complex needs. Our service is tailored to meet the unique requirements and preferences of each individual.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Skills and Qualities:

  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to deliver exceptional support.
  • Capability to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Proven experience in empowering individuals to enhance their independence and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Background in supporting individuals with diverse needs, including autism and complex health challenges.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Availability to provide on-call support to the area team (additional compensation applies).
  • Commitment to pursuing NVQ level 4/5 qualifications.

Building on your experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, you will establish, uphold, and enhance service standards. As the team leader, your primary focus will be on delivering consistently high-quality services within a challenging yet rewarding environment.
