Insurance Administrator Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an Insurance Administrator to join our team at Thrifty Car & Van Rental. As an Insurance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in assessing and determining whether damage incurred during a rental is chargeable to the customer or the client's insurance company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and determine whether damage incurred during a rental is chargeable to the customer or the client's insurance company.
  • Accept and process all new claims from insurers, confirming appropriate cover.
  • Contact our branch network or renters to gather comprehensive information about alleged incidents for appropriate response.
  • Ensure any new claims from the branch network that include personal injury are promptly submitted to our insurer with full supporting documentation.
  • Identify non-fault claims where we can recover losses from a third party or their insurer.
  • Address customer queries via phone or email regarding their uninsured losses.
