At Browne Jacobson, we're committed to delivering exceptional claims handling services to our clients. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in resolving claims efficiently and fairly, while promoting our insurer client's brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate claims to determine insurance policy coverage and set strategy for resolution and insurer's reserves
  • Liaise with insureds and their insurance broker to forge strong commercial relationships
  • Work closely with lawyers in our Financial & Professional Risks team and escalate matters as appropriate with our insurer client
  • Update computer and paper records with claim details
  • Keep insureds and brokers informed of claim status
  • Carry out claims management proactively and efficiently
  • Undertake other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and advanced keyboard skills
  • Professional indemnity experience, especially handling solicitors claims
  • Experience in dealing with claims handling aspects of a file
  • Previous experience of defending insurance claims
  • Strong legal and analytical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and methodically
  • Confidence, drive, and ambition
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
