Role Overview

As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Identity Access Management (IAM) at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital platform capabilities. Your contributions will be vital in modernizing our digital infrastructure, ensuring that customer experience remains at the forefront of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams to foster a culture of teamwork and innovation.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated testing routines and scripts to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing throughout the software development lifecycle, utilizing methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Utilize your expertise in UI and API testing, as well as testing data integrations and connectors.
  • Implement Continuous Integration practices and leverage tools such as Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Perform various types of testing, including stress, load, and security testing, to identify vulnerabilities and ensure robust performance.
