About the Role

Vermelo RPO is seeking a highly skilled Regional Facilities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support our property management strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the company's property maintenance strategy is executed effectively, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with regional contractors and internal maintenance teams, including tendering, contracting, performance management, and benchmarking.
  • Liaise with tenants to resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage repairs and ordering systems, adhering to our operating and finance procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure regional compliance with statutory safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to monitor the condition and upkeep of our portfolio.
  • Manage maintenance reporting, ordering, and invoicing procedures.
  • Control regional maintenance costs and budget planning for allocated properties.
  • Manage a small team, including holiday, sickness, performance, and payroll management, as well as overseeing wider departments in coordination with the management team.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous project management or property management experience
  • Professional and refined negotiation skills with sound commercial acumen and judgment
  • Motivated and results-driven
  • Highly organized with a pragmatic and analytical approach and an eye for detail
  • A team player capable of performing tasks independently and to their own initiative
  • A strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines
  • An excellent communicator who can communicate confidently with people at all levels of the business
  • Experience in leading and managing a team
  • PC literate with strong Microsoft Office skills
