Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Facilities Manager to join our team at Vermelo RPO. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support our property management strategy, as well as the day-to-day handling of the maintenance and upkeep of our existing portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage four Regional Facilities Managers (RFMs) and deputise for the Head of Facilities Management
  • Responsible for the Service Charge Budget process from the FM department perspective and manage and monitor the RFM team to ensure they meet Service Charge processes
  • Manage relationships with regional contractors/internal maintenance team for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks from the initial tendering process and contracting, to ongoing performance management and benchmarking
  • Monitor and ensure regional compliance with statutory safety regulations
  • Carry out regular, thorough property inspections to monitor the condition and upkeep of our existing portfolio
  • Control regional maintenance costs and budget planning relating to your allocated portfolio of properties
  • Support the Head of FM and Executive team with Business Development
  • Look for cost efficiencies with streamlining service provision
  • Manage and maintain the relationship with all IPM and Markerstudy service partners
Requirements
  • Project Management experience

  • IT literate with knowledge of standard CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) Systems
  • Car allowance
  • Monday-Friday only 9am-5pm
