Our team has extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities, specializing in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases. We deliver our commitment through an experienced and highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs.

The Human Resources Advisor will provide advice and support to management and employees in all areas of the employee life cycle for both onshore and offshore employees on the project. The role maintains a link between management and employees, providing a catalyst for implementing change and promoting appropriate HR practices.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide operational HR support to business areas, enabling the best utilization of employees and their contributions to the business. This includes recruitment, pay & benefits, communication, performance management, discipline, termination, record keeping, and training & development.
  2. Coordinate absence data and support the tracking of such, including data analysis on a weekly basis, occupational health appointments, and liaison with stakeholders to ensure successful employee return to work.
  3. Support the HR Business Partnering team with employee relations cases, including meeting minutes, investigations, hearings, and case file escalation.
  4. Conduct exit interviews, maternity meetings, flexible working meetings in line with policy, and record relevant information for key stakeholders.
  5. Coordinate the project mailbox, responding to general queries and preparing necessary support for employees throughout the HR lifecycle.
  6. Provide advice and guidance on policy interpretation and application, as well as guidance on relevant support service providers.
  7. Coordinate with the HR Shared Services team on contracts, variations, system updates, and rate increases.
  8. Occasionally support the Recruitment team with interviews and assessment days to ensure value-driven processes and resource utilization.
  9. Focal Point for the Apprentices, liaising with stakeholders on the Oil and Gas Training Apprenticeship Programme.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  1. Desirable: Oil & Gas HR experience with an offshore workforce.
  2. Essential: Degree qualified in Business/HR or related qualification.
  3. Essential: CIPD or specific Human Resources accreditation.
  4. Essential: Ability to communicate effectively with various people.
  5. Essential: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  6. Essential: Demonstrable ability to challenge constructively.
  7. Essential: Team player with good communication skills.
  8. Essential: Ability to establish and develop excellent client relationships.
