Carrot Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Senior Clinical Trial Manager to join a leading clinical research provider in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that is making significant contributions to the development of new treatments and therapies.
The Role
The Senior Clinical Trial Manager will be responsible for the overall management of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This will involve working closely with the Clinical Services Director and CEO to achieve site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to patient recruitment, screening, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage clinical trial operations, including trial planning, execution, and closure
- Ensure compliance with GCP and company SOPs
- Develop and implement trial management plans
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve site KPIs
- Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits
- Utilize Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems to manage trial data
- Provide leadership and guidance to trial teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in clinical trial coordination and operations
- Line management experience and exceptional leadership ability
- GCP training (refresher training can be completed during onboarding)
- Superior communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with preparing for internal and external audits
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve site KPIs
- Proficient use of EDC systems
- Excellent project management experience within clinical trial management
