What We Do: Within the Kraken Customer and Kraken Utilities divisions, we are focused on building an AI-driven, innovative platform for energy management. Our goal is to optimize resources and deliver cost-effective, outstanding customer experiences through advanced systems such as Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing solutions, meter data management, and AI-enhanced communications. We are also expanding our capabilities to serve clients in the water and broadband sectors.

Your Role: We are seeking individuals who thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including developers, quality assurance professionals, solution architects, product managers, and business leaders. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer experiences by developing exceptional products and facilitating effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reliable code and systems.
  • Identify innovative ideas and technologies to enhance our product offerings.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses in collaboration with clients and engineering teams.
  • Support engineering teams in delivering product features.
  • Contribute to fostering a strong software engineering culture.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds to create innovative solutions.
  • Engage with clients, presenting and designing tailored solutions, preferably with experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both oral and written, to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
  • Proactively identify organizational needs, document them thoroughly, and propose actionable strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: A logical thinker with robust problem-solving skills, familiar with the technical capabilities and constraints of the Kraken platform. Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential.
  • Technology Advocate: A champion of continuous deployment and agile methodologies, with experience collaborating with technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and Initiative: A detail-oriented individual who enjoys self-directed learning and is willing to experiment.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage tasks independently, ensuring timely follow-ups and responses to clients.
  • Effective Communication: Capable of articulating the Kraken approach and providing updates on feature developments, including creating supporting documentation.
  • Client-Focused: Experienced in client interactions, bringing their perspectives to prioritize effectively.
  • Adaptability: Prepared to navigate the complexities of large transformations while remaining responsive to changing circumstances.
