Fuse Energy, a pioneering company in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Process Engineering Lead to join its dynamic team. As we continue to develop cutting-edge technologies and sustainable energy solutions, we are looking for an engineer who is passionate about chemical processes and their application in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes and systems for renewable energy applications, in both pre-FEED and FEED phases, to ensure efficient and sustainable energy production.
  • Conduct research and development to improve existing processes and develop new, sustainable chemical technologies that align with Fuse Energy's mission and vision.
  • Analyze and interpret data from experiments and simulations to drive process improvements and innovation, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure the seamless integration of chemical processes into products and systems, driving business growth and success.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure all chemical processes comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement protocols and standards for testing and validation of chemical processes and products, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the scale-up and transfer of chemical processes from the lab to full-scale production, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruptions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, with a master's or PhD preferred.
  • Proven experience in chemical process design and optimization, with FEED experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and process control, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a real-world setting.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software for process simulation and analysis, such as HYSYS and Aspen Plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively, driving process improvements and innovation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, driving business growth and success.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
