About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Engagement Advisor to join our Technology and Innovation team at Totum Partners. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advancing client engagement strategies related to technology, innovation, and Generative AI (GenAI).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Client Engagement Strategies: Design and execute a comprehensive programme aimed at engaging clients with technology, innovation, and GenAI.
  • Maximise Opportunities: Work closely with firmwide Business Development (BD) colleagues to ensure maximisation of opportunities related to technology, innovation, and GenAI.
  • Enhance Client Offerings: Develop and enhance client offerings around technology, innovation, and GenAI.
  • Cohesive Communication: Ensure cohesive communication, engaging lawyers across the firm with key messaging and opportunities related to client tech, innovation, and GenAI.
  • Client Engagement: Engage clients through an impactful programme encompassing legal technology tools, innovation, and AI adoption.
  • Collateral Development: Work alongside subject matter experts to craft and provide external client-facing collateral to showcase the firm's expertise.
  • Internal Briefing Packs: Develop internal briefing packs to assist client teams in conversations about legal technology adoption, including AI.
  • Client Identification: Identify top clients and meaningfully engage with them on technology, innovation, and GenAI opportunities.
  • Event Organisation: Organise legal technology-related events such as GC roundtables to drive client conversations around legal technology adoption.
  • Marketing Information: Cascade marketing information to partners and client teams to improve awareness and understanding of the client offering.
  • PR and Communications: Work with the PR team to raise the firm's external profile.
  • Key Success Metrics: Set and monitor key success metrics and objectives. Report progress to the Client Tech & AI partner and the programme leads.
  • Regular Meetings: Run regular working group meetings with partners and BD team members to share updates on client conversations, mandates, and emerging opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Business Development & Marketing experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Preferably experienced in the legal sector or other professional services with a strong understanding of the legal industry.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills for marketing content and communications.
  • Organisation and Adaptability: Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • Technology Understanding: Strong understanding of technology, particularly legal tech.
