Position Overview
As a Client Engagement Strategist at Barclays Bank UK PLC, you will be integral to a team dedicated to enhancing client interaction, driving conversion rates, and fostering revenue expansion. Your role will involve crafting a scalable communication strategy across various direct digital marketing platforms for the Digital Investing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial and Distribution teams, as well as Data and CRM departments, to design and implement timely marketing initiatives across multiple owned channels.
  • Focus on elevating long-term client engagement through ongoing optimization of marketing strategies.
  • Support the Risk Function in achieving its goal of maintaining the bank's financial and operational integrity by proactively identifying, evaluating, mitigating, and monitoring risks across diverse business units.

Role Objectives

  • Formulate strategic direction for risk management, including the adoption of contemporary methodologies and processes.
  • Oversee the risk management department, ensuring effective performance of risk personnel and alignment with departmental priorities and objectives.
  • Manage relationships with risk stakeholders, ensuring the quality of external third-party services is upheld.
  • Ensure compliance with risk policies, standards, and frameworks, while maintaining a robust control environment.

Expectations for the Role

  • Provide consultation on intricate issues, offering guidance to leadership to facilitate the resolution of escalated matters.
  • Identify risk mitigation strategies and develop new policies and procedures to support governance and control initiatives.
  • Assume responsibility for managing risk and enhancing controls related to your work.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with other departments to stay informed about business activities and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct complex data analysis from various internal and external sources to creatively and effectively solve problems.
  • Communicate intricate information clearly, ensuring understanding among diverse audiences.
  • Influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
