Role Overview

The Clinical Specialist Nurse will utilize their advanced clinical knowledge to inform decision-making and clinical judgment, providing expert advice to the multidisciplinary team in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives.
  • Support the development of the service, improving practice, and collaborating across healthcare boundaries.
  • Implement and evaluate evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.

Requirements

This role requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not already a member, an application will be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before commencing in post.
