Clinical Nurse Specialist and/or Trainee Clinical Nurse Specialist

For trainees covered by Annex 21, where the period of training lasts between one and four years, compensation will be as follows:
- Up to 12 months prior to completion of training:
- More than one but less than two years prior to completion of training:
- More than two but less than three years prior to completion of training:
- More than three years from completion of training:
To undertake the role of a trainee advanced nurse practitioner (ANP), utilizing high levels of decision-making and clinical judgment. Ensure that patient health needs are met through the diagnosis and management of patient conditions through the assessment, treatment, and review planning process in partnership with patients and families.
Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives. The trainee ANP role encompasses that of expert clinician, educator, and auditor.
Lead and develop the service to improve practice and work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries, implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
