Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lead Radiographer specializing in advanced Radiographic imaging techniques. This role encompasses managerial duties overseeing Radiographic personnel, resources, and a delegated budget. You will collaborate closely with the Deputy Radiology Service Manager and Clinical Director to achieve operational and strategic objectives while enhancing the quality of patient care within the Radiology department.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Registered Radiographer with a valid HCPC Registration
  • Educated to or currently pursuing a Degree Level qualification
  • Postgraduate expertise in the relevant specialty demonstrating the breadth of knowledge necessary for effective leadership.
  • In-depth understanding of clinical guidelines and standards within the specialty.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience related to relevant conditions, policies, and procedures to provide effective leadership.
  • Management qualification or equivalent experience through continuous professional development.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in the specialty, including relevant courses or postgraduate qualifications.
  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in basic information technology.

Employment Details

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 37 hours per week.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be stationed within the Radiology department.
