An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lead Radiographer specializing in advanced Radiographic imaging modalities. This role entails significant managerial responsibilities, overseeing Radiographic personnel, resources, and a delegated budget. You will collaborate closely with the Deputy Radiology Service Manager and Clinical Director to achieve operational and strategic objectives while enhancing the quality of patient care within the Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registered Radiographer with valid HCPC Registration.
  • Education at or progressing towards Degree Level.
  • Postgraduate expertise in relevant specialties demonstrating the necessary breadth of knowledge for effective leadership.
  • Thorough understanding of clinical guidelines and standards pertinent to the specialty.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience regarding relevant conditions, policies, and procedures, ensuring effective leadership within the specialty.
  • Management qualification or equivalent experience through professional development.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development in the specialty, including relevant courses and qualifications.
  • Strong team-working and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Proficient in basic information technology.

Contract Details

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 37 hours per week.

Location and Work Schedule

The role is situated within the Radiology department.
