Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Repairs Scheduler to join our team at Tristone Nash. As a Repairs Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization completes repairs on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Home Repairs department, including scheduling and allocating resources to maximize productivity and performance.
  • Work within the policies, criteria, and timescales adopted by the organization relating to the scheduling of work, including timescales for repairs, servicing, void turn-around, and material distribution.
  • Schedule and allocate resources to ensure that works are completed appropriately and that excellent service is provided to customers.
  • Respond to unexpected operational changes by redirecting resources or amending appointments, in consultation with technical/trade supervisory staff and keeping customers informed.
  • Ensure that enquiries are dealt with during or immediately following the first contact with the customer.
  • Responsibility for the production and maintenance of detailed records of works completed, including scheduling system, compliance testing, and maintenance activities for Gas, Electrical, and other specialist functions.
  • Liaise with service managers/supervisors, contact, housing teams, and other teams to ensure that the service runs smoothly.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as raising Purchase Orders.

Requirements:

  • Experience of planning/scheduling operatives' work, including understanding how to plan an operative's working day to complete as many jobs as possible.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure that customers' repairs are completed right first time and to a high standard in a previous position.
  • Passion for delivering a service that is efficient and where possible right first time, providing the best possible experience for customers.
  • Computer literacy and understanding of a variety of systems, including the ability to produce data to support compliance monitoring and measure performance against external benchmarks.
