Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Maintenance Manager to join our team at Catch22. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the school premises in Newport provide a safe and secure environment for everyone.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure the school premises are well-maintained and meet health and safety standards.
  • Manage and coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the School Administration Manager to maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, reports, and inventory management.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to apply them in a practical context.

**What We Offer:**

  • A competitive salary of £26,400 per year, pro rata.
  • A part-time contract of 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
