Retail Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Supervisor to join our team at Farmfoods. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading the management team and supporting the manager in running an efficient shop and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop a team of retail assistants.
  • Take responsibility for the control of operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.
Requirements:
  • A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work.
  • To be a 'people person' who finds it easy to get on with everyone and is able to build strong working relationships with colleagues.
  • To be trustworthy and reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team.
