We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Kettering Buccleuch Academy.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing a team of catering professionals to deliver high-quality food and beverage services to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and motivate a team of catering staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food production.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of students and staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Collaborate with the school's administration and faculty to ensure seamless integration of catering services with educational programs.
- Proven experience in catering management, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as health and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, staff, and parents.
