Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR and Payroll Advisor to join our team at Adaptable Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the employee life cycle, from onboarding to succession planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Services:
    • Provide high-quality HR support to employees, addressing queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Manage employee records, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
    • Provide guidance on employment law and ensure adherence to company policies.
    • Investigate and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Payroll Administration:
    • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Manage time and attendance software, generating reports for approval.
    • Accurately input payroll-related data, including statutory deductions and attachments of earnings.
    • Administer the company's auto-enrolment pension scheme and oversee benefits administration.
    • Maintain payroll processing systems and records, handling data input, discrepancies, and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in HR and payroll, with a background in stand-alone or autonomous roles preferred.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in HR or payroll, or working towards this qualification.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, confident in guiding and influencing management, with the ability to challenge and impact internal decision-making.
