Job Summary

Trek Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HR and Payroll Officer to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert HR and payroll support to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Support: Provide guidance and support to departmental managers and supervisors on day-to-day HR issues, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company policies.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for all employees, handling timesheets, overtime calculations, and maintaining payroll records with precision.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, including Right to Work IDs, job descriptions, and contracts.
  • Discipline and Grievance Procedures: Assist in arranging interviews, taking notes, and guiding managers through disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Absence Management: Track absences and maintain an accurate database, ensuring fair treatment across the board.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in internal and external recruitment, utilizing the DWP online gateway system to find suitable candidates.
  • Project Management: Take on exciting projects as they arise, making a real impact on HR and payroll operations.
  • KPI Reporting: Provide weekly KPI reports to keep the team informed and on track with goals.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Tackle various queries and challenges that come your way, demonstrating your ability to adapt and problem-solve.
Requirements
  • HR and Payroll Expertise: Possess a Human Resource Management qualification, such as CIPD Level 5, and a solid understanding of payroll processes.
  • Experience: Have previous experience working in a busy HR team, preferably with payroll administration and experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Passion for HR: Be passionate about HR and have a keen eye for payroll accuracy.
