Job Summary:

Sonderwell is seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all young people in our care.
  • Active Listening: Engage with young people, listen to their concerns, and provide a supportive environment.
  • Group Activities: Encourage and motivate young people to participate in group activities, promoting social skills and teamwork.
  • Relationship Building: Develop positive relationships with young people, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Reporting: Write clear and detailed reports on young people's progress and needs.
  • Personalized Support: Accommodate to the unique needs of each young person, promoting their emotional and physical well-being.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
