Job Summary:
G4S Business Unit: US Youth Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance activities of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of in-house maintenance teams, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within designated timeframes.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of our facilities, identifying and reporting any defects or issues that require attention.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of our clients.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and report on maintenance activities, including costs and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, with a focus on mechanical maintenance.
- Experience with BMS systems and monitoring/managing maintenance activities.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical bias.
- IOSH or SMSTS qualification.
