Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Event Manager to enhance our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow their careers within a reputable company while contributing to a variety of events, including weddings, large gatherings, street food festivals, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of event setups and food service.
  • Lead and mentor event staff, fostering a cooperative and efficient team atmosphere.
  • Oversee operations for our external food service, collaborating with partner venues to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Manage inventory and ordering for events, including essential supplies such as crockery and linens.
  • Develop staff schedules and coordinate agency personnel as required.
  • Conduct end-of-event reporting to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain communication with the sales team and manage inquiries effectively.
  • Present menu tastings to prospective and existing clients.
  • Create seating arrangements for events while accommodating dietary restrictions.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Head Chef, including inventory updates.
  • Ensure front-of-house areas are organized and presentable at all times.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing diverse events and gatherings.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering outstanding experiences.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
  • Experience in a kitchen environment, with a solid understanding of various dietary needs and allergies.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel and Microsoft Teams, with a quick learning ability for new systems.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A proactive individual who thrives in hands-on roles and is eager to contribute.
