About the Role

Keltbray Infrastructure Services is seeking a highly skilled HSQE Advisor to join our team in Norwich. As a key member of our renewables team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of competent health, safety, quality, and site environmental advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters to site staff and management teams.
  • Conduct inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop suitable solutions.
  • Assist the operational team in reviewing CDM documentation and ensuring compliance with Keltbray standards and client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a positive HSQE culture within the organization.
  • Undertake task analysis of risk assessments and method statements, and provide support and advice to staff to promote sustainable practices.
  • Ensure all requirements and findings are closed within the required timescales.
  • Promote the closure of NCRs and OFIs within the project.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Encourage quality contributions and ensure timely close-out and feedback is actioned, promoting lessons learned and good practice sharing.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with site teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Promote health and wellbeing support, and direct staff where required.
  • Prepare and deliver workforce engagement sessions, including tool box talks and awareness sessions.
  • Lead on Level 1 investigations.
  • Proactively improve risk reduction through the planning process.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH NGC certification.
  • IOSH Membership Grad – Chartered (or equivalent).
  • IEMA Practitioner member or above (or equivalent).
  • PETALS certification.
  • Mental Health First Aider certification.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Kelvin Top Set 1 day 1 - 3 training.
  • Report writing course.
  • Behavioural Safety Training including TCUP.
Desirable Qualifications
  • CSCS certification.
  • EUSR certification.
  • PTS certification.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Understanding of working methods and industrial knowledge across the infrastructure services area.
  • Basics of management systems and site inspections and risk assessment experience.
  • Site experience and reviewing CDM and industry knowledge.
  • Sustainability and carbon capture knowledge.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent listening behaviors and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime when required.
  • Ability to use IT systems, including Microsoft 365, and HSQE specific systems.
  • Excellent time management and relationship skills, comfortably working effectively within a broad range of working environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly to inform and influence others.
  • Embraces and drives continuous improvement, challenging the status quo for the benefit of the business.
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent standard of written and numerical literacy.
