About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSQE Advisor to join our Infrastructure Services team at Keltbray. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, quality, and environmental performance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters to site staff and management teams.
  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the review and development of CDM documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain a positive HSQE culture within the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Ensure compliance with Keltbray's standards and client requirements, and provide support and guidance to staff to aid and promote sustainable practice.
  • Undertake task analysis of risk assessments and method statements, and provide support and advice to staff to ensure effective implementation.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff to ensure effective implementation of HSQE policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH NGC qualification.
  • IOSH Membership Grad – Chartered (or equivalent).
  • IEMA Practitioner member or above (or equivalent).
  • PETALS qualification.
  • Mental Health First Aider qualification.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Kelvin Top Set 1 day 1-3 training.
  • Report writing course.
  • Behavioural Safety Training including TCUP.
Desirable Qualifications
  • CSCS qualification.
  • EUSR qualification.
  • PTS qualification.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Understanding of working methods and industrial knowledge across the infrastructure services area of business.
  • Basics of management systems and site inspections and risk assessment experience.
  • Site experience and reviewing CDM and industry knowledge.
  • Sustainability and carbon capture knowledge.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent listening behaviours and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime when required.
  • Ability to use IT systems including Microsoft 365 and HSQE specific systems.
  • Excellent time management and relationship skills, comfortably working effectively within a broad range of working environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to communicate clearly to inform and influence others.
  • Embraces and drives continuous improvement, challenging the status quo for the benefit of the business.
  • Hands on approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent standard of written and numerical literacy.
