Page Personnel Finance is seeking a skilled Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join our team in Lewes. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for processing client payrolls accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process client payrolls with precision and speed
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication
- Verify accuracy of calculations before submitting to clients and HMRC
- Calculate gross to net calculations manually with ease
- Prioritize workload efficiently to meet deadlines
- Assist clients with payroll queries via phone or email
- Download tax notifications from HMRC and process RTI submissions
- Import and export Excel files into and out of payroll software
- Generate payroll journals and ad-hoc reports
- Create pension auto-enrolment files for timely submission to pension providers
Requirements:
- Experience in a payroll position
- Knowledge of full payroll process from start to finish
- Proficient in Excel
- Understanding of SSP, SMP, SPP
- Excellent communication skills
