Job Title: People & Culture Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to join our team at Perm Recruitment LTD. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving our business objectives and company values through effective people management and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of People & Culture professionals, including a People & Culture Generalist, ER Assistant, People Assistant, and Recruitment Assistant.
  • People Processes: Develop and implement best-practice people policies and initiatives, using a pragmatic and commercial approach to drive business results.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a high-performance culture within the business, promoting innovation, leadership, and employee development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, managers, and employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, including SIA standards and TUPE regulations.
  • Change Management: Lead and deliver change programs, including reorganizations, redundancies, and restructuring.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal processes, including PDPs and talent management.
  • Training and Development: Support the development of our training strategy and succession planning.
  • ER Casework: Handle complex ER casework, including ACAS EC claims, ET claims, and settlement agreements.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and Motivation: Excellent leadership and motivational skills to create a high-performing team.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and employees.
  • Employment Legislation: Strong knowledge of employment legislation and company policies.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a senior People position, including HR Manager, People Partner/HRBP, or Head of People.
  • CIPD Qualification: CIPD qualified (level 5 or above) desirable.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the services industry, including security, cleaning, hospitality, and front-of-house, desirable.
