About the Role

The One Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tutorial Officer to provide administrative support to our team. As a key member of our Tutorial Office, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our academic support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination Administration: Coordinate examination logistics, including EAA applications, exam arrangements, and invigilator recruitment.
  • Student Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records on our Cam SIS database.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Produce statistical reports from databases, including CamSIS, to inform academic decision-making.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Respond promptly to student enquiries and concerns, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Tutor and Director of Studies, including deputizing for the Tutorial Office Manager as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent Written Communication Skills: Demonstrate a high standard of written English and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Administrative Experience: Possess significant experience in a senior administrative role, preferably in a university setting.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • Problem-Solving and Initiative: Show the ability to use initiative and judgment to problem-solve and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Possess extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as internet packages.
