About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our team, including typing of letters, summaries, and reports.
  • Ensure good customer service by providing a professional and effective service to service users, carers, or staff.
  • Organize appointments and transport as directed.
  • Carry out office duties, such as dealing with post and photocopying, and be responsible for document filing.
  • Monitor and maintain departmental admin stocks.
  • Arrange meetings as and when required.
  • Accurately input data onto the relevant electronic system.
  • Prepare new information packs when required and monitor supplies of CPFT leaflets.
  • Create and maintain both manual and electronic health records for all active service users.
  • Be responsible for filing of all documentation in the clinical notes.
  • Provide cover as directed by your manager for other members of the admin team in their absence.
Requirements
  • Education to GCE/GCSE standard.
  • RSA Stage II/NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a busy and demanding office/customer-facing environment.
  • Experience of supporting a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience of working in a NHS Office environment.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Good IT skills (MS Office).
  • Ability to work under occasional pressure/stress.
