Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of healthcare research? We invite you to become a part of our expanding team of scientists dedicated to enhancing our understanding of cardiac diseases.
This position is available within the Cardiovascular Genetics and Genomics team at Imperial College London. Our research focuses on the influence of genetic variations on inherited cardiac disorders, aiming to leverage this knowledge to improve patient care.
The role will primarily involve supporting laboratory operations, engaging in participant-facing research activities, collecting data, and assisting with the administration of research studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage biological samples and perform DNA extraction.
- Coordinate DNA sequencing efforts with research collaborators.
- Support research activities, including online participant recruitment and data collection from clinical records.
Qualifications:
- A BSc degree or equivalent in biological sciences or a related field is required.
- Experience in molecular biology is essential for this position.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and proficiency in database management.
