Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computational Biologist to join our team at Hyper Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our biotechnology division, you will play a crucial role in advancing our computational discovery platform and contributing to the development of innovative medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize computational biology approaches, data integration, and biological knowledge to identify novel therapeutic targets and drive business growth.
  • Design and implement pipelines to process, quality control, and analyze genetic and functional genomics data in cancer research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain high-quality, well-documented code and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Contribute to the team's success by meeting deadlines, delivering high-quality work, and providing expertise to drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in a related field, such as computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related life science.
  • Proven industry experience in computational biology and cancer biology, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with Python, R, bash/Unix scripting, and Nextflow, with a focus on data analysis and machine learning.
