Job Summary

KEMIO Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Computational Biologist to join our team. As a key member of our computational team, you will be responsible for leading projects, working closely with wet lab scientists, and driving experimental design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and work as an individual contributor, utilizing in-house datasets and publicly available data.
  • Collaborate with wet lab scientists to drive experimental design and product management responsibilities.
  • Develop and improve data processing pipelines and workflows.
  • Present research findings both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • PhD in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology or a related field.
  • Extensive post-study work experience in industry.
  • Strong background in statistical modeling in a biological setting.
  • Background in functional genomics analysis.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.
  • Excellent communication skills.
