Utilizing state-of-the-art high-performance computing (HPC) resources and advanced IT infrastructure, your contributions will facilitate groundbreaking research in genomics and genetics on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assembly, annotation, and pan-genomic investigations to tackle significant scientific inquiries.
  • Conduct advanced genome and transcriptome analyses, emphasizing the interactions among key organisms.
  • Enhance and develop bioinformatics systems to ensure robust and scalable research applications.
  • Offer expert training and mentorship to junior computational biologists, PhD candidates, and early-career researchers, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in genome assembly, annotation, and pan-genomics, along with transcriptome analysis of complex datasets.
  • Strong statistical analysis capabilities and scripting expertise, particularly in R, Python, and Bash.
