Job Summary

Hays Accounts and Finance is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Assistant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of the Treasury Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the daily cash review, payments process, and maintenance of the treasury management system database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Treasury Operations team with daily cash review and payments process
  • Assist with the maintenance of the treasury management system database (City Financials) and running of reports
  • Ensure treasury compliance for bank account KYC and authorisations
  • Assist with the preparation of debt compliance reports (including Directors Certificates and calculations)
  • Support Treasury Operations improvements to processes and systems
  • Support Treasury administration including deal checklists, data reconciliations, procedures manual, and archiving process
  • Adhere to Treasury Policy
  • Perform other ad hoc administration tasks as required to support the wider group Treasury team

Requirements

  • Relevant treasury, banking, and/or payments experience
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft office skills
  • Attention to detail, with ability to manage workstreams, self-review, and ownership of work
  • Motivated and keen to problem solve
  • Responsive and collaborative team player
  • Good communication and organisational skills
